About the event
Maamwizing 2026 conference is dedicated to hosting a respectful knowledge exchange
through ceremony, keynote speakers, workshops, social events, panel discussions,
creative/art-based sessions, individual papers, and poster exhibits. Presentations may take
many forms, including academic paper presentations, community storytelling, land-based
demonstrations, creative or performance-based contributions, and collaborative sessions
that foreground Indigenous methodologies and relational knowledge-sharing practices.
